MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

In May of this year our Ride to Work program began transporting New Americans to their 2nd shift job in East Syracuse.  This job would not have been available to them normally because it meant there was no bus transportation home, but our Ride To Work program allowed them to get to and from work on time and "get their foot in the door".

Effective Saturday August 8 they were transferred to a different shift that did have bus transportation. We are so happy for these men and now they have a job and transportation independence.  Also four of them have their driving permit and are working towards getting a driver's license.

We want to thank Catholic Charities for their patience and  efforts in using our new transportation service as a Pilot program. Also our thanks to Wil Wagner of Wil-Care Transportation Services for personally driving these men 7 days a week and developing a friendship with these men. Job well done Wil !

With one success under our belt there is so much more to do.  There are so many other people in Syracuse who need transportation to get a job. Help us help others! See what you can do to make a difference! Go to our website section GET INVOLVED to help.
